Luke Savage

Independent Non-Executive Director

Luke Savage is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Deutsche Numis and Chair of the Audit Committee and Chair of the Nominations Committee. Luke is also a member of the Risk Committee and Remuneration Committee.

Key strengths

Luke is an experienced practitioner, having over 30 years of experience across the financial services industry including substantial financial management, risk management and regulatory expertise as well as operational experience across most areas of financial services infrastructure. Luke’s extensive experience of the financial services industry provides Deutsche Numis with valuable independent challenge and oversight skills which complement the range of skills of the other Board members.

Background and career

Luke was CFO of Standard Life Plc (2014-2017), CFO of Lloyd’s of London Corporation (2004-2014) and held senior financial roles at Deutsche Bank (2000-2004) and Morgan Stanley (1990-1999). He was on the governing Council, and Treasurer, of Queen Mary, University of London and was a Non-Executive Director of Queen Mary, University of London Foundation (2013 – 2021) and was a Non-Executive Director of Liverpool Victoria Financial Services Limited (2020 - April 2022). Luke was also a Non-Executive of DWF Group Plc (2018- 2023) and was Non-Executive Chairman of Numis Corporation PLC (2022 – October 2023). 

Luke is Non-Executive Chairman of Chesnara PLC.
