Debt Advisory Update
Despite the continuing appalling news from Ukraine, we’ve had a busy few weeks, completing 3 deals across debut revolving credit facilities, acquisition loans and ESG-linked private placements.
Last week we waved goodbye to the last borrowers under the Bank of England’s COVID Corporate Financing Facility, with Gatwick, Flight Centre, JET2 and L&Q Housing repaying the remaining £450m. This is one piece of corporate finance knowledge that I will be pleased to not to use again.
On a personal note, I am about to travel outside the UK for the first time this decade, to Switzerland; I hope I can remember how to use foreign currency.
