Dr. Ash Patel, Andrew Coates and Giles Rolls join the Investment Banking division
Noreen Biddle Shah joins as Head of Marketing and Communications
Noreen Biddle Shah joins as Head of Marketing and Communications
Numis has hired three senior professionals to strengthen its Investment Banking division. At the same time, it has appointed a new Head of Marketing and Communications. All four appointments are designed to enhance the senior team at Numis, as the bank continues to grow.
Dr. Ash Patel, Managing Director, Investment Banking, has joined the Growth Capital Solutions team from Optum Ventures. Ash is a medical doctor with significant investment experience across two early-stage healthcare investment businesses, and operating experience at Babylon Health (a UK tech unicorn). He brings a deep understanding of the healthcare sector and its drivers, and will have a primary focus on advising private healthcare and technology companies.
Andrew Coates joins Numis as a Director covering the industrials universe. He joins from Moelis & Company and brings nearly 15 years of Corporate Broking, IPO and M&A experience.
Giles Rolls joins Numis as an Associate Director from finnCap and brings a decade-long track record of advising small and medium sized clients. He is a qualified chartered accountant and former British Army captain.
All three have now taken up their roles at Numis’ new global headquarters in the City of London, and form part of the Investment Banking division, led by James Taylor.
Noreen Biddle Shah has joined as Head of Marketing and Communications – a new role – and will also join Numis’ executive committee. She brings nearly 20 years of experience. Most recently she was at State Street, where she was Head of Client Marketing and Corporate Communications.
